Das Modul A-180-8 ist ein einfaches Midi-Ein/Ausgangs-Modul, das beispielsweise für die Module A-155-2 und A-198-2 verwendet werden kann, um deren Daten in Form von Midi-Befehlen auszugeben. Es ist kein eigenständiges Modul, sondern erfordert ein zweites Modul, das Midi-Daten senden oder empfangen kann, und das selbst nicht über ein Midi-Ein- oder Ausgangsbuchse verfügt. Die Verbindung zwischen A-180-8 und dem Hauptmodul erfolgt intern über sog. Arduino-Kabel, die auf die entsprechende Stiftleisten beider Module aufgesteckt werden.

• Midi-Eingang in Form einer 3,5 mm Stereo-Buchse

• Midi-Ausgang in Form einer 3,5 mm Stereo-Buchse

• Art der Buchsen-Belegung intern wählbar (Midi TRS Typ 1 oder 2) über Steckbrücken

• Das Modul benötigt keine Verbindung zur A-100-Busplatine

• Die Stromversorgung erfolgt über das Modul, an das das A-180-8 angeschlossen wird

• Der Midi-Eingang wird über einen Optokoppler gepuffert, um das Hauptmodul gegen eine eventuelle Fehlverbindung zu schützen

• Der Midi-Ausgang ist gepuffert, um das Hauptmodul gegen eine eventuelle Fehlverbindung zu schützen

• Welche Midi-Daten, die das Modul sendet oder empfängt hängt von den Eigenschaften des Hauptmoduls ab.

• Zusätzlich steht ein 4-faches Multiple zur Verfügung

Modul A-180-8 is a simple Midi Input/Output module that can be used e.g. in combination with A-155-2 or A-198-2 to output their data as Midi messages. A-180-8 is not a stand-alone module but requires another module that is able to transmit or receive Midi date but does not feature a Midi input or output socket. The connection between A-180-8 and the main module is established by means of so-called Arduino cables which are plugged on the corresponding pin headers of both module..
